The Mount Band!

After traveling to Illinois, North Carolina and Washington for this event, I had the chance to return to my undergraduate days at UConn for the 2009 edition.  The sessions held the type of information that we've all come to expect...great opportunities to touch base with our colleagues from around the country and share our passion for this wonderful aspect of collegiate instrumental music.  We had the opportunity to exchange a piece of "gear" from our bands with other directors.  I was the happy recipient of an awesomely-designed t-shirt from Sigurd Johnson from North Dakota State University, and Tom Duffy, the President of CBDNA and the Director of Bands at Yale University came away with a Mount ball cap.
