The Mount Band!

We can be found on the campus of Mount St. Mary's University in Emmitsburg, Maryland.

Our members represent just about all of the majors and minors that are offered at The Mount, and come together on a regular basis to make music in a variety of ways.  

Our ensembles include, but are not limited to, the Mount St. Mary's Wind Ensemble, Pep Band, and Jazz Ensemble.   

• SOME of our members perform in our ensembles for academic credit.
• OTHERS perform in our ensembles, just because they enjoy performing.
• SOME of our members are Music Majors or Minors.
• MOST of our members are majoring in something other than Music.

ALL of our members share the bond of loving music and the desire to make it in the company of others who feel the same way.
